Camping

We are excited to offer different options to join GeesE on a camping trip. Whether it is your first ever camping trip, or you are an experienced camper looking for comradery, less effort to get outside, or to improve your camping skills, we have a camping trip for you.

Camping opportunities will be posted here as they are available. Or you can book a Personalized Camping Trip and tell us when you would like to get outside. Let us know if you have something in mind that you aren't seeing here. We are happy to work with you to turn your camping goals into amazing memories.

If you love camping in warmer months and want to extend your camping season, but aren't quite sure how to prepare for sleeping outside in colder temperatures, this is the trip for you!

We'll meet at 1:00pm to learn how to setup camp in colder temperatures. The afternoon and evening are filled with fun, cooking, adventure, chilling by the campfire, and more before we turn in for the night. In the morning, we debrief over a hot breakfast at the campfire before breaking down camp and heading home.

Campers are expected to bring their own clothes (a packing list is provided), sleeping bag, and blankets/bag liners. You are welcome to bring everything else you would need to camp (tent, sleeping pad, etc.), but we are also able to provide any equipment you might need.

  • Saturday, March 8 - Sunday, March 9, 2025

Got a group that wants to do different dates? Email us at info@geesetrips.com and we will get your group on our calendar!

Classes will be held at the Glen Isle Resort Campgrounds in Bailey, Colorado. 4WD or All WD vehicles are recommended. We have limited availability to meet at a Park and Ride in Conifer and drive you the rest of the way upon request.

Schedule Your Camping Trip

Want to camp a different day or time than what we currently offer?
Crowds not your thing and want something a little more private or personalized?
Want more specific instruction?
Have a group ready to go, but you want us to do the work of finding a campsite, booking a reservation and guiding the camping trip?

If you resonated with any of these, then scheduling a personalized camping trip might be the right choice for you! You get to pick from our available time slots for what works best for you. From there, you get to decide how much of the decision process you do. Have the exact camping spot picked out? Great! Want us to choose everything for you? Awesome! Somewhere in between? We can help with that too!

No matter if you tell us the camp spot, or we do all the planning, you will pay a $200 deposit to hold your date and time. We will then send you an invoice for the remainder of your price based on your total number of people and length of camping trip once we have that figured out. Here is how cost breaks down:

$200 per night that covers camp spot and guide reservations.

$25 per person for 1-4 people or $20 per person for 5-10 people per night. This covers cost of food, which GeesE provides, and entry fees (minus day fees for state park entry). *If you have more than 10 people in your group, this will require booking a large group trip instead.

So, 1 person camping for 1 night will be $200 + $25 = $225 total.
6 people camping 2 nights would cost $640 total ($200x2 = $400, plus 6 people at $20 per person, for 2 days= 6x$20x2=$240. $400+$240=$640).

Don't worry too much about the math, we will help figure it out for each individual camping trip depending on who is going and how long we are camping.

We have equipment you can rent! Whether you need to rent just one piece of equipment, or the whole setup, we have got you covered. It is always your responsibility to provide your own clothing and sleeping bag (with exceptions if you are traveling by airplane) and we can provide the rest. You will let us know what you need in the reservation form you fill out to book your camping trip.

Let's talk locations! We can guide camping trips in the following places:

  • Jefferson County Open Space Parks with camping: Reynolds Park or White Ranch Park

  • Glen Isle Resort - Bailey, CO

  • Golden Gate Canyon State Park

  • Staunton State Park

  • Backcountry Camping may be available in certain circumstances. If you are interested in dispersed camping or backcountry camping, please indicate so on your booking form and we will reach out via phone to discuss.

If you are booking more than one day, pick the start time for the first day and include the number of days you would like to book in the booking form. The remainder of the price for the total number of days you will camp will be sent to you via invoive.

As always, please reach out if you have any questions. We are happy to answer anything that comes up and help get you out camping!

Large Group Camping

Do you have a group larger than 10 people wanting to go on a camping trip?

We can help with that! We can work with you to build your perfect camping trip for your large group. Please fill out the Inquiry Form below to begin a discussion to book your group camping trip.

Once we have discussed your group camping trip, we will send you an invoice for the price based on your total number of people and length of camping trip. Here is how cost breaks down:

$500 per night that covers camp spot and guide reservations.

$20 per person per night for up to 30 people. This covers cost of food, which GeesE provides, and entry fees (minus day fees for state park entry). *If you have less than 10 people in your group, this will require booking a small group trip instead.

So, 10 people camping for 1 night will be $500 + ($20x10=$200) = $700 total.
16 people camping 2 nights would cost $1,640 total ($500x2 = $1,000, plus 16 people at $20 per person, for 2 days= 16x$20x2=$640. $1,000+$640=$1,640).
